Born and raised in East Austin, Mike has always had a passion for good beats and great music. His journey started the old-school way — recording his own mixtapes straight off the radio. That curiosity grew into a lifelong pursuit of sound, rhythm, and creative expression.

He’s operated and owned a dance studio, customized sneakers, DJ’d, made and sold beats, and experimented with countless tools that helped shape his unique style. From Fruity Loops to Keyscape, Omnisphere, Splice, Arcade, Electra X, Serato DJ, Cymatics, Maschine and more, Mike learned how to cut through the noise and focus on easy-to-grasp methods for legit beat creation without needing to be an expert in a million different tools.

Now, through Studio Wav, Mike is passionate about giving kids and teens a safe, healthy outlet where they can explore music, grow their skills, and find their rhythm.
